Tesco Superstore

Old Barnstaple Rd, Killicleave Farm, Ilfracombe EX34 8PF, UK – 0345 026 9517

Excellent local Tesco for all your holiday shopping needs. Be warned however, Maps indicates there is a petrol station here, there isn't.

I feel that the store lacks a certain je ne sais quoi and was disconcerted to see that half of the cashiers had been replaced by robot slaves #endmachinelabour2018. In spite of this, however, I did feel that the store catered graciously to even the most vegan aspects of my hipster millennial diet. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a reasonably priced selection of every alternative health grain I could think of, including two that I made up on the spot. It is my only hope that moving forward, Tesco Ilfracombe will take the progressive step of manufacturing all of their shopping bags from quinoa and introducing a rule that all checkout workers must have a pulse. Will definitely visit again.

Ilfracombe Post Office

26 High St, Ilfracombe EX34 9DA, UK – 01271 865234

Good shop/post office

Can have slow queues at times but otherwise much more efficient & friendly than it ever was before the 'recent' staff changes.
